POWER RESTORED AFTER  OUTAGE AT MMIA

Power supply has been restored at the international terminal of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Ikeja after a brief outage that affected some sections of the terminal today, February 18, 2014.

The power outage which mostly affected the 'D' and ‘E’ Wing of the terminal was caused by the on-going construction which affected an underground armoured cable fault, leading to the outage.

This did not adversely affect operations at the terminal but some services were temporarily shut down to enable our engineers effect repairs to the damaged cables.

FAAN regrets any inconvenience the power outage caused airline passengers and operators at the terminal.
